Championing Choice & Control for both NDIS Participants & Providers

Because every participant deserves to keep working with the person they chose, under a framework that keeps everyone protected.

Connecting independent NDIS operators with the registered, compliant infrastructure of affiliated Care Business Group entities, so they can keep delivering quality services to the participants who choose them.

Supporting people is your purpose, and your living. We've got you covered.

You didn't get into this work to spend your days navigating compliance, chasing paperwork, or worrying about whether your registration status will let you keep supporting the participants who depend on you.

But that's where many independent sole traders and practitioners find themselves right now. Particularly with mandatory registration expanding to cover more provider types, the operating environment for Providers is becoming more complex, not less.

Careva exists to absorb that regulatory and administrative burden so you don't have to, and more. So you can focus on the work that actually matters.

Work With Flexibility

Deliver care within a framework that works for you. Choose when you work, how you structure your day, and how you support your participants. Careva handles the operational and compliance burden so you can focus on the work itself.

Independent, Not Isolated

Build and grow your independent practice with Careva's operational support behind you, without a franchise model dictating how you work.

Get Started at No Cost

Start or transition with zero upfront fees. Careva provides the systems, compliance, and back-office support you need.

Is Careva Right For Me?

Careva provides the framework, support, and back-office infrastructure for independent NDIS operators to deliver services within a compliant, registered environment, without holding their own registration.

Who Careva Is Built For

  • Careva is for independent NDIS operators who want to deliver services under an established, registered provider structure, without having to build or hold their own registration.
  • Sole trader disability support workers delivering personal care or daily living supports who need to operate under a registered structure as mandatory requirements expand.
  • Behaviour support practitioners who must operate under a registered provider structure and want the compliance infrastructure to support that properly.
  • Allied health professionals; occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists — who want to work with NDIA-managed participants and need to operate under a registered structure to do so.
  • Small NDIS providers who want the operational systems, compliance, and back-office support to scale sustainably without building everything from scratch.
  • If you are doing meaningful work and need the right structure around you to keep doing it, Careva was built for you.

Who Careva Is Not Built For

  • Careva does not help providers obtain their own NDIS registration. If you are looking to become a registered provider in your own right, the NDIS Commission's registration pathway is the right starting point for you.

  • Careva is also not right for you if you are looking for a traditional employment model with fixed hours and no autonomy, a franchise structure that dictates how you operate, or a quick fix rather than a sustainable long-term operating structure.

3 Things That Set Careva Apart

Work under a registered structure, without the registration process

Independent NDIS operators can deliver services under an established, registered provider structure without holding their own registration. Careva gives you a structured pathway to get there.

Built by people who have actually done this

Careva is part of Care Business Group, founded in 2016 and now supporting over 2,000 participants nationally across Therapy Care, Assist Disability Services, and Spic N Span. We have navigated NDIS registration, compliance, and scaling from the inside — not as consultants, but as operators. That experience is what we bring to every operator we work with.

Built by Experts in the NDIS Sector

Careva is part of Care Business Group — one of Australia's fastest growing disability sector organisations, supporting thousands of participants through allied health, core supports, and community programs since 2016.

We have built and operated registered NDIS businesses from the ground up. We know what compliance looks like in practice, what registration actually costs, and what sole traders need to operate sustainably in a system that is becoming more complex, not less.

Now we are using that infrastructure to help other practitioners thrive — without having to build it themselves.

FAQs

Careva is the registered provider structure that allows independent NDIS practitioners — sole trader support workers, behaviour support practitioners, and allied health professionals — to remain participant-chosen while meeting the evolving regulatory requirements of the NDIS. We carry the compliance, the systems, and the operational infrastructure. You keep your independence, your participants, and your practice.

Purpose first, always. We work with people who care deeply about their participants and their communities.
Clarity over complexity. We simplify what is genuinely complex so you can operate with confidence.
Integrity in everything. Ethical, sustainable practice is non-negotiable.
Independence protected. Your autonomy is the reason this model exists.
Real support from real people. We are practitioners and operators, not a call centre.

No. Careva is not a registration consultancy and we do not help providers obtain their own registration. What we offer is access to operate under Careva's existing registered provider structure. That is a fundamentally different thing. If you are looking to become a registered provider in your own right, the NDIS Commission's registration pathway is where to start.

Careva is part of Care Business Group. The NDIS registrations under which Careva operators deliver services are held by Therapy Care and Assist Disability Services, both registered Care Business Group entities. Careva manages the contractor relationships, compliance infrastructure, and administration. The registration holders maintain the registrations, process NDIS claims, and handle regulatory compliance.

We support three types of practitioners.

Independent sole traders and support workers who need to operate under a registered structure to deliver personal care, daily living supports, or to access NDIA-managed participants.

Behaviour support practitioners and allied health professionals who need to operate under a registered provider and want the compliance infrastructure to support that properly.

Small to medium NDIS providers who want to scale sustainably with the right operational systems, HR, compliance, and back-office support behind them.

There are no upfront fees to get started. Careva operates on a percentage of NDIS billing, meaning our success is directly tied to yours. Our service fees range from 20% down to 10%, depending on your needs, with reductions available for each successful referral you bring to Careva.

Careva Credits is our referral rewards program. Here's how it works: For every independent contractor (IC) you successfully refer, your proportion of the NDIS Price Guide Fees related to the work you do, lifts by 2.5%. Therefore, by referring four, your proportion of the NDIS Price Guide is 90%. Terms & Conditions do apply. For example, your referrals must be "active".

Mandatory registration is expanding. From 1 July 2026, SIL and platform providers must be registered. The 2026-27 Federal Budget has confirmed that mandatory registration will extend further to cover personal care and daily living supports, rolling out from July 2027 through to end of 2030. Careva gives independent practitioners an immediate pathway to operate under a registered structure without going through that process alone.

You will be onboarded by our Customer Success team, who guide you through all required paperwork and issue your contract. You will then be set up in industry-leading systems with access to best-practice tools and standard operating procedures. Once operating, Careva manages compliance, registration maintenance, invoicing, and payments on your behalf. You focus on your participants.

Most structures in the NDIS sector are either large provider employment models that remove your independence, or franchise models that dictate how you operate. Careva is neither. You keep full ownership and control of your work. We provide the registration coverage, compliance infrastructure, and operational support around you — built by people who have been operating registered NDIS businesses since 2016.
